Scope

This privacy policy applies to the following Chrome extensions published by Yassir Boudda on the Chrome Web Store:

  • Hellowork AutoApply

  • SpeechToText

Summary

These extensions are built for productivity and developer workflows. They store user preferences and profile data locally in your browser unless you explicitly trigger a feature that sends data to a third-party API (for example, Mistral AI for text generation or speech transcription). We do not sell personal data.

Data we collect

  • Locally stored data: settings, API keys you provide, CV/profile text, application templates, and session progress — kept in Chrome storage on your device.
  • Page interaction data: when you start automation or recording, the extension reads form fields or DOM events on the active tab to perform the action you requested.
  • Audio (SpeechToText only):microphone audio is captured only when you start recording and is sent to Mistral's API for transcription.
  • Diagnostics: standard Chrome extension error logs on your device; no analytics SDK is embedded in these extensions.

Third-party services

Some extensions contact third parties only when you use AI or transcription features:

  • Mistral AI (api.mistral.ai) — job-application answers, proposal text, and speech-to-text transcription.
  • Job boards & freelance sites — LinkedIn, HelloWork, Indeed, Glassdoor, codeur.com — only while you run automation on those sites.
  • Local MCP server (DevTools MCP) — debugging data is sent only to a server you configure on your machine (127.0.0.1).

Third-party services have their own privacy policies. Data sent to them is governed by their terms.

How we use data

  • Fill job or freelance applications you initiate.
  • Generate AI-assisted text from your profile or CV.
  • Transcribe audio you record.
  • Export action logs you choose to save.
  • Remember your extension settings between sessions.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Data leaves your browser only when (1) you trigger a feature that calls an external API, or (2) you export or download data yourself.

Retention & deletion

Data stored by an extension remains on your device until you clear extension storage, uninstall the extension, or reset your browser profile. Transcripts and API payloads processed by Mistral are subject to Mistral's retention policy.

Security

Extensions request only the permissions needed for their stated purpose. API keys are stored locally. Use your own Mistral API key where supported if you prefer not to use a bundled key.

Children

These extensions are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because most data stays in your browser, you can uninstall the extension or clear its storage at any time. For other requests, contact us using the email below.

We may update this policy when extension features change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.
